Hello,
I am located in Danielsville, GA, less than 30 minutes from UGA. When I was younger, I hated my name, but now I go by Jackelyn. My concentration in Literature. I chose this because I have always had a passion for reading. I feel that a degree in Literature is a great way to meld my personal passion into a professional one. The more knowledge I have, the more I will love my job, and when you love your job you never work a day. I look forward to reaching this point in my career. The 2018-2019 school year has been my first-year teaching. I have survived so far, though at times I have felt like I was drowning. I teach for Georgia Cyber Academy Middle School and teach from home. It’s definitely been an adjustment, teaching online, but I am continuing to learn to adapt. Because I felt like starting my MA during my first year of teaching was not challenging enough, I found out in December that I am pregnant with twins.
As an on-line middle school English teacher, I am very excited about this class. I would with technology all day, every day and I hope this class can help me present literature to them in new and exciting way that they will respond to.
